Charles Michael Lorre is an American television producer, writer, director, and composer. Called the “King of Sitcoms”, Lorre has created/co-created and produced several sitcoms including Cybill , Dharma & Greg , Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Mom, and Young Sheldon. He also served as an executive producer of Roseanne. Lorre won three Golden Globe Awards for his work on Roseanne, Cybill, and The Kominsky Method.

Samuel Marshall Raimi (/ˈreɪmi/ RAY-mee; born October 23, 1959) is an American filmmaker. He is best known for writing and directing the Evil Dead trilogy (1981–1992) and directing the Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007). He also directed Darkman (1990), The Quick and the Dead (1995), A Simple Plan (1998), The Gift (2000), Drag Me to Hell (2009), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).

His films are known for their highly dynamic visual style, inspired by comic books and slapstick comedy. He founded the production companies Renaissance Pictures in 1979 and Ghost House Pictures in 2002. Raimi has also produced several successful television series, including Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995–1997), its spin-off Xena: Warrior Princess (1995–2001), and Ash vs Evil Dead (2015–2018) starring longtime friend and collaborator Bruce Campbell, reprising his role in the Evil Dead franchise.

Steven Knight (born 5 August 1959) is a British screenwriter, producer, and director for film and television. He wrote the screenplays for the films Closed Circuit, Dirty Pretty Things, and Eastern Promises. Also, he wrote and directed the films Locke and Hummingbird (a.k.a. Redemption). In July 2025, it was announced that he would write the 26th official James Bond film, to be directed by Denis Villeneuve.

Knight is one of three creators of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, a game show that has been remade and aired in around 160 countries worldwide. He is also the creator of the BBC’s Peaky Blinders and SAS: Rogue Heroes, and has written for Commercial Breakdown, The Detectives, See, and Taboo.

He has built a large film and television studio complex in inner-city Birmingham called Digbeth Loc., opened in 2024.

Frank Darabont (born January 28, 1959) is an American film director, screenwriter and producer who has been nominated for three Academy Awards and a Golden Globe. He was born in France by Hungarian parents who fled Budapest during the 1956 uprising, but the family moved to Los Angeles while he was still an infant.

He has directed the films The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and The Mist, all based on stories by Stephen King. In 2010 he developed and executive produced the first season of the AMC network television series The Walking Dead.

Lena Waithe (/weɪθ/; born May 17, 1984) is an American actress, producer, and screenwriter. She is the creator of the Showtime drama series The Chi (2018–present) and the BET comedy series Boomerang (2019–20) and Twenties (2020–21). She also wrote and produced the crime film Queen & Slim (2019) and is the executive producer of the horror anthology series Them (2021–present).

Waithe gained recognition for her role in the Netflix comedy-drama series Master of None (2015–2021) and became the first African-American woman to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 2017 for writing the show’s “Thanksgiving” episode, which was loosely based on her personal experience of coming out to her mother. She has also appeared in Steven Spielberg’s 2018 adventure film Ready Player One and the HBO series Westworld. In 2023, she was nominated for Best Play at the 76th Tony Awards, her production work on the sketch-comedy play Ain’t No Mo’.

Waithe was named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2018 and was included on Fast Company’s Queer 50 list in 2021 and 2022.

Emerald Lilly Fennell (born 1 October 1985) is an English actress, filmmaker, and writer. She has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, and nominations for three Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards.

Fennell first gained attention for her roles in period films, such as Albert Nobbs (2011),  Anna Karenina (2012), and The Danish Girl (2015). She gained prominence for her starring role in the BBC One drama series Call the Midwife (2013–2017) and for her portrayal of Camilla Parker-Bowles in the Netflix drama series The Crown (2019–2020), the latter of which garnered her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.

As a writer-director, Fennell is known as the showrunner for season two of the BBC spy thriller series Killing Eve (2019), which earned her two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. She made her feature film directorial debut with the thriller Promising Young Woman (2020), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and received nominations for Best Picture and Best Director. Fennell also wrote the book for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Cinderella (2021) and directed her second film, the psychological thriller Saltburn (2023).
